What is a 9 darter?
Three perfect visits.
A leg of darts starts at 501 and has to finish on a double. Three darts per visit means the fewest you can possibly need is nine, so every one of them has to be exactly right.
Most players go for seven treble 20s, then need 141 with two darts left in hand. The most common finish is treble 19, double 12, but there's more than one way to get there.
